Felix Nussbaum was born in Osnabruck, Germany.Studied art in Hamburg and in Berlin. A fugitive in Brussels, he was arrested and transported to a concentration camp in France. Escaped to Brusseles and was forcedto live in hidingwith his wife. Denounced, the couple was transported in July 1944 to Auschwitz, where they were murdered.
