Holocaust in the Polish Underground Press

During the war years hundreds of underground papers were published in Poland, representing some eighty political parties and organizations. Excerpts from the most important papers, reflecting the positions of these Polish groups vis-à-vis the Jews, are included. The findings demonstrate that the Holocaust did not change attitudes — those that supported equal rights for all continued to do so, and those which were previously antisemitic remained so.
