The Final Solution: Florent Brayard, La “solution finale de la question juive”: La technique, le temps et les catיgories de la dיcision
The review article notes the innovative approach and new material in this book, and the thought-provoking analysis of the first French scholar since 1951 to address the development of the “Final Solution.” At the same time, the reviewer notes many flaws in the work, stemming from its unconventional structure and from the author’s conscious decision not to grapple with earlier findings and approaches of scholars. The thesis presented near the end of the book is neither original nor is it a necessary conclusion from the discussion in the rest of the book.
