Jewish Literature in the Soviet Union During the Holocaust Period to 1948
Most of the Jews who fell into German hands were cruelly slaughtered. The fate of the other Jews in the USSR is largely unknown. Many Jewish authors writing in Russian chose to chronicle Jewish subjects. Other publications in Russia in many languages may provide an important reference for additional material.
